Pricing & Information

Whilst every reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the information contained in this website are accurate, prices, descriptions and availability are subject to change without notice. Also we cannot accept responsibility for any error or omissions.

Making A Purchase

We aim to keep all items in stock unless indicated otherwise. If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be e-mailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Shipping

Delivery is charged as indicated. If all your items are in stock we will despatch your order within 3 working days.

Furniture and Bulky Items Delivery & Handling

We’ll organise delivery for you at the best available price, using tried and trusted folk with big muscles.  Prices in the Edinburgh and Highland Perthshire areas start from £25, depending on post code and access.  Heavy pieces requiring two person lifts will (reasonably) cost more.  We will always check with you before we commit to an arrangement, and do our best to accommodate convenient days and times.. Further afield, we recommend using specialist furniture couriers - cost tends to be £75 door to door for smaller items, tables etc and £100 for larger items. Multiple items will cost a bit more but not too much.

Guarantee & Returns

We want you to be delighted with your purchase and would be grateful if you would check the contents of your delivery carefully within 24 hours of receipt to make sure everything is present, as described, not damaged or otherwise faulty, and if there is a problem contact us (details above) in order that we can deal with the problem efficiently and effectively with our carrier. We may not be able to accept responsibility for shortages or damaged goods if they are not reported with 48 hours of delivery

We will completely refund the full price of your order and delivery charge if goods are faulty or damaged. Your card will be refunded in full on receipt of the goods back at Homer.

No Quibble Changed My Mind Returns

If you wish to return anything under our No Quibble Changed My Mind Guarantee, you have up to 14 days after your delivery has been received to advise us and return the goods. Your returns must be received by us in saleable condition with all manufacturer’s packaging, accessories and instructions complete and intact, otherwise this could affect your refund.

The cost of returning product under our No Quibble Changed My Mind Guarantee is the responsibility of the buyer and we recommend that all returns should be via a “signed for” service

If you wish to return anything under our 'Change Your Mind Guarantee' you have up to 14 days to let us know.

Cancellation

You can cancel your contract at any time up to seven working days after the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail or write to us.  If you cancel you must return the goods to us at your own expense. Upon Homer receiving the returned goods in an unused and satisfactory condition a refund will be paid to your Credit/Debit card. This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights.

Contacting Us

We can be contacted Monday-Saturday 10.00 am - 5.00 pm on 01887 820802 or by e-mail homer@aberfeldywatermill.com.

Cookies

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that help your browser navigate through a website. The cookie file is generated by the site you're browsing and is accepted and processed by your computer's browser software. The cookie file is stored in your browser's folder or subfolder.

Your browser accesses the cookie file again when you visit the website that created the cookie file. The browser uses the information stored in the cookie file to help ease your navigation of the website by letting you log in automatically or remembering settings you selected during your earlier visits to the website, among many other functions.

Any particular website cannot access information on your computer other than the cookie it set on your computer. The cookie is not executable code so it doesn't have any 'life' of its own other than being used by the website that created it. As explained above, such use is limited to helping your browser process the information located on the website.

What do we use cookies for?

Session tracking - These are cookies which expire at the end of each session – They are used for shopping basket and site functionality

Analytics - We use analytics software provided by Google, which sets a number of cookies with varying life spans up to 2 years. The service provides anonymous information about site visitors, for example whether a visitor arrived directly or via a search engine.

What happens if you block or reject our cookies?

If you choose to block our cookies, you will not be able to add items to your shopping basket, proceed to checkout, or use any account features that require you to sign in. Because cookies allow you to take advantage of essential features of this website, we recommend that you leave them turned on. If you do leave cookies turned on, be sure to sign off when you finish, especially when using a shared computer.
